We will take you through the following process to care for your lawn & plants..

1. Brief

Perhaps there is a patch of your lawn that is particularly dry, or struggles due to high footfall. Perhaps your grass isn’t as luscious as you hoped. Perhaps your plants aren’t lasting through the season as long as they should or you want to add some plants that will bring an extra splash of colour to your garden. Perhaps your garden is currently baron and you need us to do a full garden-renovation, with plant-life at the forefront of the design. We will carefully listen to your requirements to ensure your needs are met.

2. Site analysis

We will inspect your garden to understand what current trees, shrubs, vines, ferns and grasses currently exist. We will look at the health of your plants and quality of your soil. We will observe the shade and sunlight to consider the best plants for the conditions within your environment.

3. Design & Consultation

We will produce designs to depict how the vision will come to life. Perhaps you’ll have an elegant sea of striped tulips or a generous boundary of bold & beautiful hydrangea (which change colour depending on the soil PH). Perhaps some fragrant Peony will fit perfectly into your garden or maybe you will simply need to understand our plan for bringing your lawn back to life through disease prevention, weeding, fertilisation and so on. We will communicate clearly and consult you if there are any choices to be made.

4. Gardening

We will get to work, crafting the environment that will allow your plants to flourish. We will keep you updated on progress so you know exactly how the project is going at all times. Once our hard work is done, you can sit back, relax and enjoy your beautiful outdoor space. Imagine strolling across your thick new lawn barefoot, past the divine lilies floating along the surface of your pond and towards your raspberry bush dripping with edible candies for you to pick. We believe gardens truly are an adult’s playground.

Lawn and plant care involves a range of activities that we possess an in depth knowledge of. This includes, but is not limited to, the following:

  • Pruning, weeding & sacrification: The removal of unhealthy or overgrown leaves, unwanted plants and dead grass. Doing this will encourage healthy growth.
  • Watering: Keeping plants & grass healthy by providing water, which they need (in varying quantities depending on the plant type, soil, season) to live.
  • Fertilisation: Providing food for plants/lawns to ensure they get the nutrients needed in order to grow and flower successfully.
  • Pest control & disease control: Taking action to minimise the risk of plants being harmed by insects, fungi and so on.
  • Staking and stringing: Creating structures to support plants that need help standing up tall or avoiding damage.
  • Deadheading: Removing the flower to encourage future growth.
  • Mulching: maintaining moisture and soil health by laying organic matter around plants.
  • Mowing: Trimming grass shorter for aesthetic purposes and/or to encourage healthy growth.
  • Aeration: allowing air, nutrients and water to permeate through the soil towards the roots.
  • Overseeding: Filling in less grassy areas with seeds to encourage growth and make the lawn less patchy.
